Anyone else find that weird?? I mean I spent many days and nights at friends houses in high school and we always managed to hang out with our clothes on.....
So they wrongly dispose of Kates dads' body because Kate (only "4 WEEKS" away from being of legal age) doesn't want to spent those "4 weeks" in care of the state. Therefore, she has her bff's help her commit a crime that carries a very lengthy sentence (at least in the US).
These girls are so dumb. This is just another example of their ridiculously poor judgment. Also, if they were "bff's" why didn't they stay in touch over the 15 years? Ever heard of facebook, email, calls, text, instagram, snail mail... seriously! And Isa, Fatima, and Thea ALL LIVE IN LONDON!! It's not like they're world's apart. So now the three that live in London head back to London. Honestly, I am kind of losing interest and don't really care what happens. I will finish the story, but I'm kind of like.... Yeah, what did you expect?? As a reader we learn that the whole town knows and now there's a body. Unless there's a major twist in the story I'm already guessing I won't end up liking the book.

I'm still here, but haven't finished this section yet, so I'm not reading the above comments quite yet. I've been trying finish all of my Hoopla audio books that I borrowed on the last day of Feb. They are expiring in less than 24 hours and I have one and a half books to go. I should be able to get back to The Lying Game tomorrow.
I finally finished this 3rd section and completely concur with both of you. I was hoping that I would find something in this book worth reading but I'm having to force myself to listen to it.
Plus, I'm also wondering if this is all there is. I mean so far we have some juvenile delinquents hiding a body that they didn't murder. We all know that juveniles don't usually exercise good judgement, but is this really enough to write a whole thriller around?
