Have you read any other books by diverse authors that you can recommend? For mystery fans, I'd recommend anything by Attica Locke, Sujata Massey, Vaseem Khan, Shamini Flint, Vivien Chien, Kellye Garrett, Radha Vatsal, Gigi Pandian, Keigo Higashino, Ausma Zehanat Khan, Stephen Mack Jones, and Roberto Ampuero. Other authors I've read and loved include Isabel Allende, Nella Larsen, Zora Neale Hurston, Sandra Cisneros, Julia Alvarez, Federico García Lorca, Julio Cortázar, Roxane Gay, Thrity Umrigar, Nayomi Munaweera, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Tayari Jones, Tommy Orange, Elizabeth Acevedo, Shonda Rhimes, and Mohsin Hamid.
Would you recommend this book? Yes! I loved the way the story was told and the author's way with words. I've only read a few other works by her so far but have been blown away by her writing each time.

Have you read any other books by diverse authors that you can recommend? I loved My Sister, the Serial Killer last year and looking forward to her future novels.

Would you recommend this book? Yes! It was so much better than the synopsis let on. This is so much more than a black Bridget Jones novel, maybe it starts off that way but it delves deeper. I'm glad I gave it a chance, cause "black Bridget Jones" is not doing this book, or any book, justice IMO.
