I.C. Robledo (icrobledo) Hi everyone,

I am seeking beta readers in the topic/genre of psychology, self-improvement, and mental and cognitive abilities. I’m looking for avid readers who are interested in this topic area to give me feedback on books that will be coming out in the near future (but after the holidays). Here is my Amazon page if you want to see what kind of books I’ve written. http://www.amazon.com/I.-C.-Robledo/e...

The beta readers I’m interested in are those who would meet any of these criteria (you definitely don’t need to meet all of them):

- Has an intense interest in these topics (psychology, self-improvement, mental and cognitive abilities)
- Reads frequently in this kind of genre
- Writes in this area
- Has extensive personal experience in this area
- Has experience as a professional in this area
- Has experience as a proofreader or editor, and is interested in the topic

Also, I’m interested in readers who wouldn’t mind me emailing them every 5-6 weeks about a new book (15-20k words), and who would consider making themselves available to beta read the book. Basically, I’m interested in beta readers who are interested in getting more deeply involved and helping through more than just one book title. Usually I would prefer to have feedback within 7 days of sending out the book draft.

There isn’t much I can offer in return at this point. In the future when I get paper copies, I would definitely offer a copy for free to anyone who has helped me. If there is anything else I can do, feel free to let me know.

I work a lot to maintain this kind of schedule, and my goal is to continue to improve my writing to provide the best books possible to my readers. If you want to join and you meet any of my criteria, please send me a message. Of course even if you join me, you can change your mind at any time and I would take you off of my mailing group.

Best,
Issac

I.C. Robledo (icrobledo) Thanks everyone for the interest. Shannon and Donald please PM me with your email addresses.

I think I'll have plenty of help with that.

Nirv Kadambi | 1 comments I have experience with reading these kinds of books due to concerns with my own cognitive abilities. One of my friends calls me in for tests related to the field every once in a while. Being at the crux of information would be an ideal situation for me to be in.

In case you're looking for help, I would be glad to offer my services while I can. Scheduling would have to be discussed though. I've got a day job.

I.C. Robledo (icrobledo) I've messaged everyone who was interested and I no longer need any more people for this project. Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

It's definitely of interest to me, but I have absolutely no time left to take on another project. Good luck!
