Hi everyone!

Sorry I have not been around in a long time. I was finishing up university and have just had a really busy two years.

I just want to point everyone in the direction of author John Shors. I am now a school teacher in an under privileged school that does not have access to a lot of books. He had reached out to me to read the first book in his new YA sci fi series The Demon Seekers

and give a review. But after finding out I was a school teacher he sent me a signed (to the school kids) copy of his whole trilogy to be donated to the school library. He did not ask to be promoted here, and has been an absolutely stand up person.

I haven't had the chance to read the books yet and can't comment on that. I just wanted to share with everyone here the generous act he made for my school.

I've been here a long time and despise authors showing up just to plug their new books, so it was a nice surprise to see someone make a donation and not expect anything back in return.

So sorry again I've been gone so long, hello to all the new members who have joined in my absence, and I look forward to being a more active mod again now that all the craziness has subsided!

Lancer

Dawn | 1246 comments Nice to have you back Lancer. Hope the stint at university went well and didn't drive you too insane.

I've just checked and book 1 is only 99p on kindle and has some very good reviews so it's just gone on my to-read list. Generosity pays off

I won't get a chance to read it for a bit as the librarian has to read it first to be sure it is age appropriate which I am 99% sure it is. Then ill get a go at it. Hopefully they are good!
