I was tempted to add this book here. This may not be Pakistan specific but deals with issues at heart of Pakistan

Yes,it is on my to read list. Read Ahmed Rashid a good long while ago,would like to see how unbiased he is.

Yes,Exploding Mangoes is wicked satire and pretty controversial too.
After that,Hanif's talent went south.Red Birds was so disappointing.
