hey sheetal, Actually the first 50 pages were author's note . The novel starts from page 51 .Now I'm on page 81 .So all in all, I read only 30 pages :) and did u get the book?!

Yes. I got it today. I am on page 31 and I already find it very ineteresting. I can't believe that now I have actually read the most famous qoute in history.

I have not gone very far actually just till the The ball at Meryton. I am reading it slowly because I want to completely devour this legendary book. Frankly speaking, I don't like Darcy at all. Maybe I will like him later. Where are you? Any opinions?

Welcome back sheetal :) u were missing for some days !! i am reading it slowly since i don't have any other go due to my working hours !! ya even i hate Darcy !! maybe we will tend to like him as the story goes by !! I am at the part where Mr Collins comes to Bennett's house in the intention of marrying one of their daughters

Yes, I hate Darcy too because of his comments and refusal to dance with anyone not rich and well bred.

I have now read till the part where wickham has already been introduced. I am now reading the part where Elizabeth and Darcy share their first dance. Cute moment though Elizabeth seems to like Wickham. Let's see what happens.

i forgot the chapter ,but i have reached the part where Elizabeth is staying at Mrs Collins home . Its getting better since Elizabeth has got a new admirer which is making Mr Darcy really jealous ,okay those jealousy part might be a bit of exaggeration from my side !

I am now at the part where The housekeeper, Mrs. Reynolds, shows the portraits of Darcy and Wickham and relates that Darcy, in his youth, was “the sweetest, most generous-hearted boy in the world.” She adds that he is the kindest of masters: “I have never had a cross word from him in my life.”

Maybe, now my views about Darcy have started to change. Please don't jump to conclusions. I said started to change :D Lets see what happens next.

Hmm, i am at the part where Mr.Darcy proposes to Elizabeth. At the end ,we will all start liking him,since he s the hero :) BTW Shailene looks a bit different in this picture .her blue eyes are captivating

You are right. I like him already and yes Shailene does look a bit different in this picture. Its from divergent I think.

ya even i am beginning to like him. The part where he took the trouble of writing to her an explanation of all the things she had accused of him. That was very sweet of him.Ya this pic is from Divergent

I completed the book today. I didn't want to do so but I was free today and didn't have anything else to do so I did. But I remember every bit and would love to discuss every word with you. Where are you now? I can also re-read the chapter where you are.

Sheetal, i finished the book.It was really good. I love how Mr.darcy changed his attitude for Elizabeth.I loved the part where Darcy Proposes to Elizabeth though the latter rejects it. On the whole, i gave the novel a 4 star . Next i am going to read Atlantis Found as a part of a challenge . Thanks, i had a great time buddy reading with you. After your exams are over,let's decide on our next book to buddy read if you wish. All the best for your exams.

Yes You are right. I rarely come online these days because of my exams. I Had a great time buddy reading with you.It was a great book. I don't even get the time to post a review. I will, someday about what I liked and didn't like about the book. I would love to read another book with you in future.
