Barnes & Noble produced an altered first edition of this book with a signed tipped in page and a notation on the dustjacket of same. It was given a special ISBN of 978-0-8041-7983-6 which was printed on dustjacket.

Note: the normal ISBN was 978-0-3455-4292-2.
