Kendryck Starks | 21 comments I’m guilty of not starting this one yet. On my list and have it at home and will finish before this quarantine is up

Ben | 79 comments I haven't started it yet either. I picked up a different book and am already hooked. So, Embassytown will be the next one up!

Kendryck Starks | 21 comments Same. I finished Armageddon by Max Hastings and needed a reprieve from the dive into the Eastern Front from WWII so reading Brighton Rock right now.

Ben | 79 comments So I finally started Embassytown. Oh boy. 28 pages in and I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on. I have to say that the prose is erudite and beautiful. I do like being dropped in a future or alternate world and finding my way. I’m liking the writing, but it is a challenge.

Kendryck Starks | 21 comments I know, right!?!?! So beautifully written and a fun challenge but really requires some dedicated brain space. I’m about 40% through it. I’m hoping to really give it some solid time this weekend and finish it.
