Sarah A. (cera_az) Are thrillers considered part of this group?

Sarah -

I would say that just depends on the nature of the book so just use your best judgement. Say if you're reading a political thriller, I would consider that action/adventure. Or maybe a Dan Brown book?

Hope this helps a bit! Happy reading!

Aimee

Natasha | 12 comments I am struggling to find a book for this category. Does anyone have recommendations or a link to a list that could be used? TIA.

I don't know what to read for this one either, but I found this list called 'Better Than Blockbusters: 14 Action-Packed Books for Summer'. Not all seem action/adventure to me, but there are some interesting ones.

And here are Amazon's bestsellers in this category:

Hope you find something you like!

Thanks for the lists, Esther!

Natasha | 12 comments Thanks for the lists. The first list is questionable as you said, I would not for example include JoJo Moyes as an action writer. It does confirm that this a stretch category for me as I do not recognize many of the titles.

Sarah Lyall-Neal | 6 comments I just finished A Dark Lure and I think A Dark Lure fits this category. Its definitely a page turner and the title is very apt.

Kathy For action/adventure I finished the First Law trilogy. The third book was Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie. Really great epic fantasy tale.

Esther (Chapter Adventures) | 18 comments I ended up reading The Lightning Thief for this. I've been meaning to read the series and realized it actually fits this category. It was definitely action/adventure non-stop and funnier than I expected.
