I think it's time we start another thread for this...

Here we can share what we are reading or what we just finished (even the rating you gave it if you want :)

I guess I'll try to get the ball rolling...

I'm busy reading both the 'Cassandra Palmer' & 'Midnight's Daughter' Urban Fantasy series by Karen Chance.
I just finished all my re-reads, and am about to start on
Shadow's Bane (Dorina Basarab, #4) by Karen Chance & Brave the Tempest (Cassandra Palmer, #9) by Karen Chance

I'm also still busy with The Red Wolf Conspiracy (The Chathrand Voyage, #1) by Robert V.S. Redick

Started reading A Head Full of Ghosts but with everything going on I haven't had the energy to pick up a book this weekend.

Bibliogothica | 130 comments I just finished reading Servant of the Empire this "morning" (02:00am)! It was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to see what Feist has in store for Mara in the last book...

I am also reading:
Small Favor (The Dresden Files, #10) by Jim Butcher by Jim Butcher
They just keep getting better and better. :D

You should give "The Iron Druid" series by Kevin Hearne a try.
My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed them. (although, I have yet to complete the series...)

Book Barbarian (Tammy Smith) I just finished reading House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

It was a 4/5 for me, now I need to go onto my eARC - my TBR is now a monster bookcase.

Oh Nice!
We'll be waiting a bit to get this one in paperback.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it - I'm waiting to hear a few more reviews, as it seems that Maas has thrown a whole mix of mythologies into it - hoping to find out more on that before adding it to my TBR.
(If the writing style is similar to her Throne of Glass series - there's a good chance it'll get added.)

I had some minor issues with it, you can see my review if you want.... It's a very similar writing style - have you read her ACOTAR series? My review is spoiler free but I am a huge SJM fan so I will read anything she writes!

Oh dear...
See, this is why I was waiting...
I've read a couple other reviews which point out other aspects of the writing as well, which makes me less certain about grabbing this asap.

I am an extremely pinickity reader...
(I'm one of those readers that gets annoyed when I have to read about the origin of every character in the book - while reading the fifth book in the series - I KNOW already!!)

So, the chances are pretty high that I'll be mildly annoyed if her characters are too similar to others that I may have liked before.

I have read her ACOTAR series, "Mist of Fury" was my favorite. I had a few issues with 'Wings & Ruin', especially with some of the inconsistencies that came up toward the end of the book.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see... (it's not like I don't have a towering TBR to keep me busy in the meantime.) :D

Speaking of which -
I'm starting Mindstar Rising (Greg Mandel, #1) by Peter F. Hamilton a little early.

I'm getting nervous as I'm nearing the end. I'm trying my best to savour them but I think I can only hold out for 3 months. Then I'll have to wait! :(

Bibliogothica | 130 comments So I decided to start Side Jobs now so I could read the short stories in between books instead of doing them all in one go, and then stupidly decided to read Turn Coat before I was finished catching up (no idea what was going on in my head at the time).
But I only have one more short story to go and then I can continue with Turn Coat.

I am additionally reading Mindstar Rising with Jax.
So far it's pretty interesting... many conspiracies going round.

My reading A.D.D decided to make an appearance...

so instead of continuing with Ms. Chance as stated above,
I ended up picking up

A Winter's Promise (The Mirror Visitor #1) by Christelle Dabos by Christelle Dabos while waiting for Bibliogothica to catch up in Mindstar Rising...

It's originally written in French, and translated into English.
I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style! Not entirely sure who to give credit to for that, but I enjoyed it enough that I scoured the internet and found an audio edition of the second book on Spotify!
The Missing of Clairdelune (The Mirror Visitor Quartet, #2) by Christelle Dabos

Sadly, I'll have to wait until September for the third books translation, The Memory of Babel to be released
