Eileen | 1854 comments Would Macbeth: A Novel for "Play" even though it's not a play in this form? It's a retelling of Macbeth. I read his "Hamlet" retelling a couple months ago and really enjoyed it!

That sounds pretty iffy to me, Eileen. Oscar Wilde plays are fun and fast reads, if you are looking for ideas. A very interesting play is An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley- and it's short too.

message 14: by Eileen (new)

Eileen | 1854 comments Yeah, I was very much torn on that one. I do want to read it though, and will, but it's definitely not a play in this form. I AM looking for some ideas, so maybe I'll check out An Inspector Calls (if I can get it) or maybe I'll finally give The Importance of Being Earnest a try!
