Haven walked by the mines. She didnt come by here often.
Eclipse was sitting in a tree by the mines. She had just finished eating her lunch, and was now resting for a while before se went out and found the appropriate survival materials for the next few hours.
Haven looked around and saw Eclipse. She started to walk away. Person. I have to get away before she sees me. A twig cracked under her foot and she sighed.
Eclipse raised her eyebrows, having seen Haven notice her. "Afraid of me, are you? Or do I not smell very good?" Eclispe asked her.
Haven turned around and sighed. "Hello. I'm not afraid, by the way."
"Then why were you walking away?" Eclipse asked casually and carelessly, stripping a piece of bark off the tree she was sitting on and passing it back and forth between her hands.
"Well I dont normally talk to people that's all." Haven sighed.
"Well, you're talking now." Eclipse said, pulling a dagger out of her jacket and cleaning the area underneath her nails with them.
"Suppose so. What are you doing here?" Haven asked. "People dont normally come into the dwarf mines"
((Sorry!))
"Whatever I want. I'm a hobo." Eclipse said casually. She shoved the dagger back into her jacket. "What about you?"
"Whatever I want. I'm a hobo." Eclipse said casually. She shoved the dagger back into her jacket. "What about you?"
"Well I come here to escape people unlike yourself. I'm sort of a hobo too I guess, only I don't go wandering around wherever I want." Haven replied. She sat down and leaned her back against a tree.
"Ever steal from anybody?" Eclipse asked, looking down at Haven.
"I do that all the time." Eclipse said. "Or else I'd be dead by now. I'm wanted." She was used to being a criminal. Eclipse was sure that Eleonaire knew about this, of course. Eclipse couldn't be sure how her twin sister felt about that. Was El happier without Eclipse around? Did she hate Eclipse?
Haven didn't reply. The realization that she was talking to a criminal sunk in.
"What? I'm not going to kill you." Eclipse rolled her eyes. Honestly, people always thought that she was going to kill them if they recognized her, or she told them she was a criminal. Besides, if Haven planned on telling somebody, Eclipse would find a way make things okay. But only for herself.
Haven smiled after a bit. This was sort of cool.
"So now it's funny that I'm a criminal? You're very confusing." Eclipse said.
"No I think it's cool, actually." Haven said.
"Great! Not gonna tell, are you?" Eclipse asked. "Cuz then I'd have to improvise."
"What's your idea of improvising?" Haven asked.
"Making the situation better. But just for myself." Eclipse grinned wickedly.
Haven smiled. "I like your way." She said.
"You ever kill anybody? I'm guessing no." Eclipse said.
"Ok lets just say Im a mini you who hasn't done any criminal activity besides sneaking out to the forest when my parents aren't home.
((Sorry!))
"Well that's not criminal activity at all." Eclipse said. "That's nothing more than annoying your parents."
"Well that's not criminal activity at all." Eclipse said. "That's nothing more than annoying your parents."
Haven sighed. "To them it's a lot more than just annoying. They bug me so much sometimes. I think I should do something criminal sometime soon though. Sounds exciting." She climbed up a tree and dangled her legs off the side.
"So getting chased around by police every day sounds exciting? Fighting for your life ever day of the week? Nearly starving to death and having no friends sounds exciting?" Eclipse asked coldly. She wasn't sure why, but she was kind of insulted that Haven had said it sounded exciting. Eclipse had been forced into the criminal lifestyle.
"Yes. Umm do you not want to be a criminal or something?" Haven asked.
((Did you post 2 dots at a time by accident?))
"No. I just find it insulting that you think starving to death, having no friends, sleeping on the ground, and not knowing hat's become of your only family sounds exciting." Eclipse snapped.
"No. I just find it insulting that you think starving to death, having no friends, sleeping on the ground, and not knowing hat's become of your only family sounds exciting." Eclipse snapped.
Haven made herself look smaller. "Well um..." She stammered. She hesitated then said, "well at least your parents didn't own a business that they valued more than you. They dont even care that Im always wandering these forests." She sighed.
"My parents are dead!" Eclipse snapped angrily. "So at least yours are alive! You don't have to choose between your cruel aunt and only sister or the criminal life!"
"Well I feel very neglected! Even by my older brother who is supposed to inherit the buisnees. I have no one! None of them care a bit about me. None of them." Haven said. She started to cry a bit.
Eclipse wrinkled her nose. Haven's problems seemed petty to her. "Gee, nobody, huh? Go make some friends then!" she exclaimed sarcastically.
Haven looked away. She had tried that. It didnt end well.
"I have to go." Eclipse said. She hopped down from the tree and walked away, not bothering to say goodbye.
Haven stomped back toward the Red Riding Hood Kingdom. I hate her, she thought.
