Ruby the Red Fairy question

This series is written by Daisy Meadows, a bestselling author having sold 30 million copies of her books, and one I was very fond of as a child. The series follows the lives of different fairies encouraging children’s imagination to run wild. There is many an opportunity to extend the reading of these books further through the interactive website where you can read extracts from other books or create your own fairy. These could be used in the classroom in art lessons, where children can design their own fairy, or DT lessons where children have to create improvements to their fairy, or even in English with creative story writing.
These books are short and an easy read for some, but could be used as a stepping stone for less confident readers to develop their reading skills.
