Unconventional Questions coming up :D stay tuned ....

1. What is the one thing that inspired you the most ?
(This is possibly going to be long.)
Back in 2005, I was a bit of a washout - a chap with 'potential', largely unrealized. Almost a write-off. Career not going anywhere, life not going anywhere, relations with friends and family a bit strained and all that. A couple of years prior, I'd been considered a bright spark, but now life was veering more towards existence than living.
The only solace I had was football. Being a diehard fan of Liverpool, I was (and still am) almost fanatical about the club and the game. But, like everything else in my life, they were mired in mediocrity as well. Still, somehow, they made it to the European elite - the Champions League Final in Istanbul.
However, considering they were facing the strongest team in the world at that time, A.C. Milan, there wasn't much hope. Whatever little there was, was dead within the first half when Milan took a 3-0 lead. I was almost in tears, to see my favourite team humiliated this way.
But something made me carry on watching the game. And after 10 frenetic minutes, the scoreline stood at 3-3. Eventually, Liverpool won. That's when the tears game. A team that had been dead and buried at half-time had resurrected themselves and how!
That moment was when I had an epiphany. And there's been no looking back ever since. I don't think I'm anywhere close to the conventional definition of successful - I don't look like Brad Pitt, I'm nowhere as rich as Bill Gates (or Scrooge :P). But, I'm at peace with myself. I enjoy my relationships with people, I love my job, and my life. Because I have what I didn't have for many years in life - a never-say-die attitude. Irrespective of what happens, you'll find me never giving up. Ever.
2. We all have one moment that hold power to chance our life. What is that moment for you ? And how did it chance your life ?
I believe my essay above answers this one too. :)
3. What according to you is more important ? Knowledge or Education ?
Actually, what is important is for both to be put into action. It doesn't matter how knowledgeable you are, or how educated, if you don't have some essential life values like humility, integrity, and honesty.
4. What is Friendship for you ?
Now that is a tough one. I think it is probably the most sacred relationship in the whole wide world. I guess a friend is someone who loves you not because of what you are, but despite what you are - warts and all.
5. If you could go back in time and change any one thing in your life what would it be ? And why ?
I doubt I would change anything at all. Whatever I've experienced so far has shaped me in some way,and I don't think I want to be a different person at all.)

1. Tell us( I am sure many like me doesn't know the story behind "Hulk" ! ) how you got nicknamed as Hulk ?

5. Evil
6. Sweeeeeet
7. Nautanki
8. Brave
9. Chatterbox
10. Crybaby
11. Main character :P( smart, loyal , etc etc etc )
12. "None at all. I use questions very intelligently to judge the questioner(s). So, beware... ;)".
Now judge the one who created this thread ! Hmmm !

1. What motivates you to work hard?
The idea of exploring uncharted territory. I like building new stuff, and doing things that no one has done before. So,the thought of solving problems that exist is what keeps me going.
2. What is your proudest accomplishments?
I guess putting a smile on the face of anyone who is underprivileged.
3. What are your favorite books?
Tough one! I'd have to say Macbeth and A Tale of Two Cities among millions of others.
4. What makes you laugh the most?
Internet trolls and religious bigots (Of course, they make me angry too, at times.)
5. What are your hobbies? (bookless hobbies)
Photography and writing - though I don't get time to practice either of them :|
6. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
The power to prevent crimes against women.
7. What are you favorite games?
Age of Empires and FIFA 15
8. Do you have a favorite idol, if so who?
The one and only, STEVEN GERRARD. Captain, leader, legend. If football had been my religion, he'd be my god. I admire people who value loyalty, honesty, and integrity and don't get swayed by money and petty considerations.
In fact, I'd also mention Bhagat Singh as another figure I totally revere. To give up your life for a noble cause, and to be such an example to millions of people, what a man!
9. What is the most meaningful lesson you've learned in life?
This short poem that I always recite to myself when I'm a bit low:
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
10. You have three wishes that will be granted, list them. ;)
This sounds a bit like a question they might ask at the Miss Universe finals. But, considering I'd look very silly in a swimsuit, and I'm just not pretty enough to answer this, I'll pass. :P

1. If you could do any job in the world, besides the one you are doing now, what would it be?
I'd be managing my favourite football team i.e. Liverpool.
2. What kinds of things get you angriest? Why?
Discrimination on the basis of caste/religion/gender/ethnicity etc. and religious dogmatism. Why? Because I believe in the equality of human beings.
3. Do you think you have any prejudices? What would they be?
Yes, I hate Manchester United. :P I do have my prejudices - I'm trying to work on reducing them so I'd rather not say what they are.
P.S. Ok, let's share one. I can't stand people who are too dense to understand sarcasm. :)
4. Would you rather be famous, or make a lot of money? Why?
Actually, I'd rather be happy - irrespective of fame/money (which I am already). But, if it's a choice between the two, I'd rather have money. (I'm sure I could use it to buy me some fame. :P)
5. When you were young, did you collect anything? If you did, what was it and why did you get into that?
Oh yes, I collected stamps! There were some relatives/family friends who wrote letters from various countries. I used to very patiently remove the stamps from the envelopes and stick them in my stamp album.
6. What was your favorite movie or book when you were my age?
I see! You're trying to make me feel old, aren't ya? My favourite book was Oliver Twist. *coughs, leans on his walking stick and walks away mournfully*
7. Have you ever danced in rain?
I hate getting wet in the rain. Argh!
8. What question do you hate to answer?
None at all. I use questions very intelligently to judge the questioner(s). So, beware... ;)
9. Glass half full or glass half empty? Is there something more optimistic?
Irrespective! At least, you're privileged enough to have an unbroken glass, right?
10. Would you be willing to eat a bowl of cockroaches for $ 50,000?
Depends. Show me the money first!

And I really wasn't trying to make you feel old, it was in your own head :P:P:P
And about the 9th answer... I loved it, but i was thinking the glass is always full ....
'Show me the money first!' You sound like a kidnapper here :P:P
Nice answers. Will wait for your answers to Purvi's questions :D:D

Possibly a pic of me in a t-shirt that says 'The Incredible Hulk'. Personally, I think of myself as 'The Incredible Bulk'. :|
2. If you wake up one day and realized you have turned into Shinjini ( :P sorryyyy shiny I couldn't think of another name ...well technically I could but let's see :P). Ohk so what will you do ? Or how would you react ? :P
I'd burst out crying, much like the real Shinjini does and get myself a tattoo of Shinchan on one arm and Shinji Kagawa on the other.
3. Why do you think most people are intimidated by you here ? ( I think they are :O)
Yeah, I guess intelligent sarcasm intimidates people. :P (Just kidding!) Honestly, I don't like intimidating people. But, I guess I am a little aloof and so I do come across that way to some folks.
4. What is the one thing that can make you cry like a baby ?
Turning into Shinjini
5. Have you ever stole anything in your childhood or teenage ? Like shoplifting ? :P
Just some hearts ;)
6. If you were given to write a book and were asked to pick up the members from GR whom will you choose for the following ? P.s. I am not to be added in the list :P
1. Bossy pants
2. Lazy
3. Sarcastic :P
4. Writer
5. Evil
6. Sweeeeeet
7. Nautanki
8. Brave
9. Chatterbox
10. Crybaby
11. Main character :P( smart, loyal , etc etc etc )
I'll pick me as 'lazy' and since I'm too lazy, I will prove that by not nominating anyone else for anything.
P.S. You already know who 10 is. :P
12. "None at all. I use questions very intelligently to judge the questioner(s). So, beware... ;)".
Now judge the one who created this thread ! Hmmm !
Never said I share my judgments, did I? ;)

That tattoo thing is epic!!!

That tattoo thing is epic!!!"
Ha ha ha... All I see was super evasion, but done brilliantly :v

That tattoo thing is epic!!!"
Harry, let's laugh while we still can. The wrath of Shin shall be upon us, and her retribution shall be swift. :P

*bows and greets Sri*
*says, 'Off with my head, off with my head'*

HMPH, this joke never gets old. As a wise man** once said, "Jokes don't grow old, people do."
**I'm sure you can guess the identity of this fantastically witty man. B-)

Personally I think the best thing that could ever happen to you is turning into me. Nothing could be a greater privilege. Consider yourself lucky even being asked that question. :|

1. If you could have all the money in the world, what are the first three things you would do? (Please don't say you'll open an FD or some other boring answer)
2. You are invisible for a day! What will you be doing with your power?
3. If you could make a book your family heirloom, which book will it be?
4. What do you want people to remember you as?
5. If a movie was made on your life, whom would you want to play you?
6. What will you name your autobiography?
7. Name one book that changed you as a person.
8. What is one question you want to be asked? (Please give us the answer as well)
And you may judge me all you want. I don't mind. :P
(Personally, I think my questions are awesome!)

I'm also apparently presumptuous...all of you have known each other for so much longer...I'm still working out some of the nicknames.
@Purvika...well spotted...but to be fair, they were those kinds of questions. I'm wondering if the same fate awaits the rest of this post.
@Rex...
1. You get to choose which one to answer: 6 word memoir pls/15 word epitaph pls (and getting cheesy with a spin on 'no regrets' ha I only used 2 words...hmmmm...has been spotted lurking on the horizon and been disqualified).Oh and you could do both.
2. A meaning of life question. Consider it asked in whatever way you find most palatable answering.
3. Pavlovian responses. One word/perhaps two allowed:
Dream
Death
Love
Faith
Life
Joy
Wisdom
Bondage
Freedom
Art
Work
Play
Mind
Body
Universe/World
Spirit

@Rex...the first words you think of in response to the cue...
For example, possible responses to say the following cues would be:
Red - rose
Blue - drown

*Proudly points to the second post and 11 post ... Other set of questions was just for fun :P*

1. You get to choose which one to answer: 6 word memoir pls/15 word epitaph pls (and getting cheesy with a spin on 'no regrets' ha I only used 2 words...hmmmm...has been spotted lurking on the horizon and been disqualified).Oh and you could do both.
Memoir: Veni, vidi, vici
Epitaph: I don't mean to scare you, but you'll never walk alone.
2. A meaning of life question. Consider it asked in whatever way you find most palatable answering.
Life means savoring each moment, each interaction, each relationship. It's a privilege to live - and it's (largely) up to us to make our own life worth living.
3. Pavlovian responses. One word/perhaps two allowed:
Dream - Treacherous
Death - Inevitable
Love - Inevitable
Faith - Unshakeable
Life - Transitory
Joy - Life
Wisdom - Rare
Bondage - Criminal
Freedom - Respect-worthy
Art - Appreciate
Work - Sincerity
Play - Essential
Mind - Active
Body - Dead?
Universe/World - Unfathomable
Spirit - Permanence
