1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month?
Yes, I completed one, The Undertaker’s Daughter by Debra Webb
2.Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I started two new series, Brotherhood by Fire by Jaci Burton and Mercy Kilpatrick by Kendra Elliot, a group read. I’ll definitely continue Both of them.
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
I moved forward in four series:
FBI Trilogy by Allison Brennan
Victorian Rebels by Kerrigan Byrne
Detective D. D. Warren by Lisa Gardner
Runaway Brides by Kaki Warner
4.Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I had three standouts: The Scot Beds His Wife, Love You More and The Bookish Life of Nina Hill. All three of these books were difficult to put down with outstanding narrations.
5.Overall summary of your reading month?
I was really pleased that yet again everything I read was a win. I also binge read a series, something I haven’t done in a long time. The group reads continue to be a wonderful way to meet my series goals.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
Since we're stuck at home, I have a lot more time for reading. I finished 13 books in March. Happily, I rated most of them 4 stars or better.
1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month? Yes, 3
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
Yes 1, but I won't continue as I'm not a fan of the writing style
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
Yes, 8 -
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
- sticking with this series has finally paid off.
5. Overall summary of your reading month? I read 12 books. Same as February. Teaching all my classes online is exhausting and I'm sure the stress of the situation is also making me tires :(

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?

I binged the series, science fiction with action romance. I was surprised how I got into this. SciFi not really my thing or so I thought.

Shy sheltered heroine. New bodyguard/ Security firm series with many books.

Boss-employee, enemies to lovers. Funniest book I’ve read in awhile. Laugh out loud funny.

Trilogy-Exciting political thriller very dark with triggers

Revenge/ enemies/ epic story.

Exciting trilogy - revenge has triggers. Sawyer Bennett is all you need to know

Moving second chance romance

Coming of age - woman firefighter. Was a finalist in goodreads choice awards for romance although I think it’s more woman’s fiction.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
25 books. This stay at home order is really helping my TBR.
I pretty much loved everything I read.

No
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
Started several...
Booktown Mystery series by Lorna Barrett book 1 I gave 2.5 Stars I hated the characters in this first book and am not sure I want to continue with the series but usually give an author at least 2 tries.
Jules and Bun Mystery series by JM Griffin Book 1 I gave 2 Stars Boring dialogue forever. I have the second one in this series to read for a review so I will attempt it but if it isn't great I'm giving up
The Edge series by Ilona Andrews gave the first 2 books both 4 stars I thought The Edge concept was really interesting. I saw a lot of Brogan from their Hidden Legacy series in the hero of the first book and William was an excellent tortured hero in book 2. I will definitely read the rest of the series.
Scumble River Mysteries by Denise Swanson book 1 I gave 4 Stars and will continue with them
Flower Shop Mysteries by Annie Adams gave the first book 1.5 stars I hated almost all the characters in this cozy mystery. Poor portrayal of LGBTQ population, poor portrayal of the entire Mormon religion, and overall belch! I probably won't even give this author a second chance.
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
Yes I moved forward in 4 series.
I read book 14 in the Goldy Bear Culinary mystery series.
I listened to books 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Charley Davidson series.
I read book 4 in the Psychic Eye series by Victoria Laurie.
I also listened to book 4 in the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. On a side note both the Charley books and the Mercy Thompson books are narrated by Lorilei King who also does the Stephanie Plum books. I love her but Stephanie and Charley have very similar snarky wit so at first I was confused if I was listening to Stephanie or Charley.
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
Other than the ones I've mentioned already weren't good most of the books I read were 4 stars. I thought November 9 by Colleen Hoover was really good and I rated it 4.5 stars. If the ending wasn't a bit far fetched (in my opinion of course) it would have been 5 stars.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I read/listened to 14 books in March. Another good month for me.

I’ll be forever grateful to you for encouraging me to start with Victorian Rebels first. It’s amazing how each book bests the last...and they’re all great!
I mix up my reading genres, which may explain why the Jaci Burton worked better for me. After all the murder and mayhem I read, a nice drama free book can feel really good. I thought she did a really good job with the characterizations in that one. And, I loved the focus on foster family relationships.
