The hero becomes attracted to the heroine and finds out she’s a single mother. He likes her son, who is also super intelligent.

The hero sees a picture of himself as a kid and realizes the boy is his son. It turns out, he and the heroine had a one night stand years ago.

I think they met at the ice cream parlor she works at?
