In 2010-2011, I worked in Sudan as a referendum observer for President Jimmy Carter's foundation. Subsequently, I wrote a memoir of my experience, struggles, and joys accompanied by over 100 full-color images.
While it is available in printed form, I am offering for free a PDF copy to anyone interested in reading about what it was like living and working in a potential war zone as an international monitor.
