I so loved this story because it incorporated every element I love about this series and engineered them flawlessly. It’s an ugly story with a beautiful ending.

1) Where was Alex? Gibson never mentioned her and she was never around when Sebastian went to visit.
2) It was mentioned earlier about the similarities between Nicholas and Sebastian's lives. One thing I thought of was how Nicholas's father treated him by disowning him. Although Hendon had threatened the same to Sebastian, I don't think he ever would have went that far. Even though Hendon is not Sebastian's biological father, he has always loved him as his own. Sebastian should be thankful for the father he was given.
Joanna, I wondered the same about Alex! It was unusual for her not to be mentioned.
I’m with you about Hendon. I don’t think he would ever give up on Sebastian. He truly loves him and it made a difference. Poor Nicholas.

I was wondering about Alex too. The only thing I can think of is Gibson didn't have many scenes in this book. The focus is on Sebastian and Hero as much as the murder.

I think I saw snippets of this interview before not the whole thing. I thought I read the next book is when they go to France, but I guess we need to wait for two books down the road.
