I don't tend to read a lot of science & tech books, but some of these look really interesting to me. I read the winner Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? with the group this month and thought it was really well done. I think it's worth a read if it's something you're considering.
I am also interested in the group choice Invisible Women. I didn't plan to read this one, but saw that it was winning the poll, so I bought it in a sale. I hope to read it with the group in May.
I would like to read Mama's Last Hug, Indistractable and maybe Burnout. There are a couple of others that look interesting as well, but it would need to have that perfect combination of interest, time, and book availability among other things for me to actually read them. If I read the 5 I have listed, that will be a lot from this genre for me.

Like you, Kristie this isn't a go to genre, but am reading Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? Big Questions from Tiny Mortals About Death and think it is excellent.

There are not many books in that category this year that appeal to me. I still might read How To: Absurd Scientific Advice for Common Real-World Problems

I really recommend Because Internet: Understanding the New Rules of Language it is much more about the internet than about language to me.
Can't decide if I want to read Digital Minimalism: Choosing a Focused Life in a Noisy World
