How This Works
Note: We have changed the way CTF is working for this time since we don’t have as many active members right now. Please familiarize yourselves with the way it will work this time and be aware that we may change the way CTF games will function again later on.
This is how CTF games are going to work for this month:
- We will have ONE game of Capture the Flag on a weekend toward the end of every month, starting Saturday 11am EST.
- There will be four place threads outside of the usual CHB threads for each part of the Forest: Southern Woods (Blue Flag), Zeus' Fist (Red Flag), Clearing (Blue Territory), Northern Woods (Red Territory) and Creek (Border). Here is a map to help you visualize the layout.
- The cabins will be split into 2 teams.
- A mod will post new team listings a week before each game.

RULES
No killing or maiming, but you can injure. Anyone who violates this rule will be banned from any future Capture the Flag games.
No overpowering your character. If your character uses his/her powers, (s)he must have some energy drained, depending on how much power is used.
No original characters from the books.
No team leaders.
No pets or armies of undead.
We will list the teams on a different thread in this folder...
When actually playing the game the BLUE team will either put their posts in bold or if you do not know how to do this, you will simply put “Blue Team” at the beginning of your post.
For example:
Blue Team
Violet raced toward the flag.
RED team will either put their posts in italics or put “Red Team” at the top of your post.
The example below is how the game will look. The first sentence will be if you are on Red Team. Second will be if you are on Blue Team.
Example:
Lissie ran towards the flag and wove through the dense forests in front.
Dan came out to block her and raised his sword and shield as defenses.

lol It's okay. To answer your question, I have to confirm on a time with the other mods. Then, I will let you guys know.
heheheh go a little crazy when that happens. if you do that i suggest no more than 5 days. bad things happen after that.
Same just joined. we will figur it out...hopefully😃
can i be red? i'll just be a simple camper if that alright.😃

Everyone who is new, please read the first three posts. They are there to help you. I will be posting the team listings in a sec. I placed you guys based on how big the cabins were. If they aren't what you would like, there is always next month's game.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you follow the rules on the third post from the top.

In order to play this game, you need to create a character. You can go to this link to do that. The rules and outline are on the first post.

Didn't you want to be in Athena? Your character sheet says Omi's godly parent is Poseidon.

I changed my mind. Sorry. I want to be in Poseidon.

Yes, I believe so. From a quick google conversion search, 8PM EST Friday would equates to 10AM AEST Saturday (I live in Melbourne so I chose this timezone which corresponds to my state, if you live somewhere else in Australia, the timezone might varies a little bit so I suggest, just search in Google "8PM EST to [your location]".)

For anyone who wants to find last weekend's game of Capture the Flag, I will be moving all future 2020 games to Archives 2017-2020.

I posted the team listings yesterday, so just check which team your cabin is on. If your character is a Hunter, your character goes with the Hunters.
For those of you that don’t know, Capture the Flag is a traditional game played at Camp Half-Blood where two teams made up of the cabins at the camp compete in the forest to capture each other's flags.
