I might join The Plague if I can fit it in. I've only read The Stranger/Outsider and that only in the last year or two. I might even read it in French if I can get hold of a reasonably priced edition!
Wonderful news. I'll set up a thread. If you can't fit it in, or just change your mind, that's fine. I'll just post a few comments and maybe someone will join in at some point. I expect a fair few people here have read it already. It's currently riding high in the bestseller lists. I can't imagine why.

The thread is open and waiting for anyone who wants to get involved. I'm aiming to start within a week

I was reading The Black Death until I came to a picture of a rat - I had to put a post-it over it. I could try getting back to it now.
I recently read The Health of Strangers and there was a sect in the book, The Children of Camus, who were obviously inspired by The Plague. I haven't read any Camus and am, to be honest, not sure I can fit in any more buddy reads, but will be interested to read your thoughts.

The Plague by Albert Camus
I've not read any Albert Camus for decades but recall I enjoyed The Stranger many many moons ago
Any Albert Camus fans in the group?
If anyone wants to do a buddy read of The Plague then just say the word. I'll be reading it anyway and it's always even more enriching to have a few fellow readers to discuss it with
