Review:

Five Stars

The book was about the lost lives of the Romanov Sisters who were born to a German mother and a Russian father. Nicholas was to succeed the throne in Russia, but he married a German named Alexandra. Nicholas and Alexander was the King and Queen of Russia and responsible to ensuring the safety of their citizens in Russia. After they got married, Nicholas and Alexandra were expected to produce a son to be heir to the throne of Russia. If they did not produce a son, then the throne would succeed to his brother. Each time Alexandra became pregnant, she had a daughter. That came a blow to the people of Russia, and were disappointed with the sex of the baby. Nicholas and Alexandra sought out the advice from experts to conceive a son. Finally, Alexandra became pregnant for the fifth and last time, had a son. Alexey was born with physical problems which would eventually cause Nicholas to step down from the throne. Eventually the country found out the physical problems of Alexey and Nicholas stepped down from the throne of Russia. Nicholas decision to step down caused a judgement that would affect his family's future. The family went into exile and eventually were murdered. This event happened due to the war between France, England, and Russia during the early 1900's. The Romanov girls lived a luxurious life in Russia before the war and it was like reading about a family who lived a royal life with parties and privileged duties. The book was a good read, I would recommend to anyone to read about this family and learn more about the history of Russia and the difficulties of the country and this family.

Four Stars

The book was about a woman who had to work during Christmas holidays while her husband and children when to his mothers for Christmas vacation. The woman worked with her co-workers getting a pilot of a new TV show ready to air, but she went to her mom's house to stay during Christmas vacation. She had flash backs when she found her old land-line phone about her and her husbands relationship over the years. The book was interesting but I could have did without the fowl language in the story.

Four Stars

The book was about a minister going a mission in another world where he preached the gospel to aliens. The book was Science Fiction which included forgiveness, love, and adventure. Peter a minister, discovered challenges with reaching the gospel to aliens on another planet while dealing with the stress of missing his wife. The book was a good read, but I could have done without the fowl language.
