Do you have a book you have been wanting to read, but haven’t had the time to get to?

Suggest what books we should read next in the comments below.

Sarah (calypte) | 84 comments Red Riding, Grisha trilogy, anything by VE Schwab, a gazillion other things that I'll find out first if they're on your shelves :)

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions!

Our next read will be Victoria Schwab’s ‘The Near Witch’ (read from Monday, 04/05/20 - Sunday 10/05/20. There is also a bonus read should you have the time, of Victoria Schwab’s prequel novella ‘The Ash-Born Boy’. This is included as bonus content in the hardcover edition of ‘The Near Witch’.

Following that, we will pick up Pierce Brown’s novel ‘Red Rising’ (read from Monday, 11/05/20 - Sunday, 17/05/20).

Sarah (calypte) | 84 comments Cool beans. After Red Rising, I want to continue with the series - that's half the point of it for me. Not sure if that's #TomeTime approved or not ;)

Sarah (calypte) | 84 comments Wondering if you have Veronica Roth's Chosen Ones, and if so would that be a possibility?

I do - I have a beautiful signed copy! Patrick wanted Neil Gaiman’s The Ocean at the End of the Lane next, so he can join in, so shall we finish Red Rising, then read Ocean, and then Chosen Ones? I don’t have Golden Son (book 2 of the Red Rising series), so that may give me time to find a copy, as like you I now want to read the whole series - we could thread the whole series in between our other picks?

Sarah (calypte) | 84 comments Can you get an e-copy quickly? I don't intend to leave much of a gap, that was half the point this time.

I don’t want to get an ecopy as then I’ll be buying two copies of a book, as I’d still want to get the hardcover later. It would be a waste of money for me.

However, if you want to do a solo read of the second book if you have it, then I can catch up on the rest of the series later when I find an affordable hardcover. We can pick alternates for #TomeTime that we both have copies of.
