Ink in My Veins discussion

im having trouble with writers block and have no idea how to get over it, any one got some ideas please?

Take a break, sometimes all you need is time to NOT think about your story..then when you get back to it you might get a lot of ideas.....


The other way could be to ALWAYS think about it....which is what I do!:P

Sometimes music gives me inspiration!

That always works for me. I take a break from writing to reread my favorite book or something and then I go back to it and I feel fresh.

idk, ive never gotten a rly serious case of writers block, so i mite not b much help sry :(
but sometimes ur brain just isnt working and u cant think clearly so ya, wait a couple of days, think about something else, and then get a fresh start

My friends are always pushing me to write and so when I'm not in the mood, I write stupid stuff that wasn't part of my plan, so I have to go back and change it.

You know, I wrote a whole little essay on this. I really should post it. Basically the point of it was that you just nee to force yourself to write something. It doesn't matter how god-awful it is, or how unrelated to whatever it is your working on, just write something down.

It's easier said than done though, I know.

DIALOGUE!!!!!!!!

Just start a conversation and the characters will do the rest!

That's how I do it. And it kinda shows in my writing...

I'm pretty dialogue-heavy.

Because, the dialogue between characters feels real, like they are really right there talking. It doesn't sound fake and filled with fluff.

I wish they hadn't deleted those so I could look back and figure out if I still know what I was talking about.

I'm glad that the teasing is over with.

I've gotten bored with it. There is still lots I can tease you with, if you really get on my nerves.
