I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. It is a book that I have previously avoided as I don’t tend to enjoy sci-fi or dystopian books. It did feel a little dated and there were a few loose ends that I would have liked to have been tied up. The book reminded me of both The Handmaid’s Tale. There was enough action and suspense throughout that it held my attention and I read this in one sitting.

His is one of my favorite young adult books. I've read this 4-5 times and I am not one to reread books. There are 3 sequels/companion books. I didn't like any of them as well.
