Nicole D. | 1573 comments QRB (Quarantine Readers Block) finally hit. Honestly, I'm not sure if it was this book or if it was the Q. BTW, if this book took place in Space, I completely missed it. This book inspired the Matrix movies, and it was hard listen to it without thinking about that and then I'd think about that and get distracted and the next thing you know two hours would have passed, and let's just say I started completely over more than once. Because I really wanted to like this book but it was super hard for me to concentrate on.

So I started over the first part twice, and I started over the second part once, and I'm still not entirely sure what happened. But also some of it was really interesting, I mean there were some great ideas here. But sometimes maybe it was confusing and boring.

Honestly, I don't know. I'm not inspired to continue the series, but I feel like I missed out and may need to read it again when my head is more clear. It definitely got better at the end.

Jen K | 3143 comments I read this earlier this month and think I may have enjoyed it slightly more than you. I think the print was easier for not getting lost in the details of the matrix which I did have to kind of skim as it was confusing.

The whole last part took place in space. :)
