Heroes/Readers of Olympus discussion

Do I have a bet going with my friend to see who can get the most votes for their favorite book series. So if you agree that PJO/HoO/ToA is better than HP, please say so!

I think it's better than Harry Potter and here's why:
-PJO/HoO/ToA draws on our world but still creates it's own universe and mechanisms for how everything works
-it's funnier
-the characters are more vibrant
-LGBTQ+ and POC representation
-the author is actually a good person

i still think HP definitely has its merits and is something every kid should have the chance to read if they want to, and i still love HP, but it's just not as good as PJO+

I feel like Uncle Rick's books are better.

I think J.K. Rowling is amazing at world building but Uncle Rick's characters are just amazing. I didn't cry when Cedric died but I did when Beckendorf did

Jason's death affected me the most for some reason.

PJO and HoO is so diverse too. They have LGBTQ+ and POC characters. They also represent kids who are ADHD Dyslexic. I feel like I relate to the characters in PJO and HoO more than I did in HP's characters.

Hp is really good, but Rick Riordan's books are better than hp..I was obsessed by hp, but after reading the heroes of olympus series, I was 120% obsessed with Rick Riordian's books.. 😐😐😐

I actually like PJO/HoO/ToA more than HP by 3%.

HP is better than PJO, but PJO/HoO/TOA is wayyyy better

HP is a classic, that cant be denied but PJO/HOO is better because the main characters actually have a personality (im sorry, but harry potter is a very shallow person). Also percy jackson and the other characters are funnier and more relatable, especially from the ADHD point of view, i think its one of the things that drew me in when i started reading them years ago.

for sure these series WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST
