Bill This thread is for nominations for the June Group Read. The category is mysteries, thrillers, spy novels published between 1970 - 1979. As I check through my bookshelves, besides the old favorites, I see authors like -

- Peter Lovesey
- W.J. Burley
- Ruth Rendell
- Dorothy Salisbury Davis
- James McClure
- K.C. Constantine
- Kyril Bonfiglioli

and so many others. I look forward to seeing what your nominations might be.

The normal rules apply, but the basic one being try not to nominate one we've read in the last three years...

Aditya | 2017 comments The Choirboys by Joseph Wambaugh
I nominate The Choirboys by Joseph Wambaugh. Read it a couple of months ago, as good a satire as it is a crime novel. Dark but damn entertaining.
