Rae (arggimapirate) | 4 comments I've gone back and forth about giving this book a shot - now I've got motivation to go for it. Can bees be relatable? Let's see!

Erin I just found this book and am oddly intrigued my its description. I think I will give it a try for this weeks book as well. It got really good reviews so I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Tom | 26 comments I think I'll read this one too. I've read all the obvious choices with animal characters, but I hadn't heard of this one before and it looks like it could be good.

Eleanor | 25 comments Rick O'Shea (an Irish DJ who read 100 books last year) rated it as his book of 2014.

Teressa | 12 comments This is my pick for the topic! 20% in and am really intrigued. I think it's going to be a great book!

Megan This is the one I'm going to try too!

Megan I started reading this book but I'm not that into it. I'm not sure if I should suck it up and continue or try something else. I told myself I wouldn't give up on books during this challenge. I'm about 100 pages in. Does it get better?

Teressa | 12 comments I finished it. It was ok. If you abandon it now, I don't think it's a big deal. I had that feeling at times as well but just pushed through because no other books in this category have really caught my interest.

message 10: by Tom (new) - rated it 4 stars

Tom | 26 comments Uni coursework took over my life for a few weeks, so I only just finished this last night. I thought it was pretty good, although it did drag in a few places.

Heather Godwin (hpgodwin) | 84 comments I really loved this book (I appear to be in the minority). I read Honeybee: Lessons from an Accidental Beekeeper earlier this year & found so much of the bee behavior in the book to be very accurate to actual hive life. Bee's are straight up crazy. And towards winter they do usually kill all the males (Drones) to preserve the hive. Anyway, Flora 717 was a very interesting character that really develops as the story goes on.
