Natasha Holme (natashaholme) | 465 comments Have been reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau, which I'm finding absolutely tedious. Giving it a rest at 59% in.

And have just started Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle, which is thrilling from the start.

Anastacia | 1 comments I just finished reading The Fire Never Goes Out: A Memoir in Pictures and looking forward to read Carry On, Warrior: Thoughts on Life Unarmed.

Joséphine (josphine) | 3 comments I'm reading Som pesten and recently started on The Scorch Trials, since the first one is to close to reality for me sometimes, considering the current state of the world. So I thought it'd be nice to read something completely different too.

Carrie Scott | 4 comments I just finished Late to the Party by Kelly Quindlen. It's a YA coming of age type story about a girl trying to make new friends and get a girlfriend the summer before her senior year of high school. It's very sweet and the stakes are never too high (which is nice these days). There are lots of queer characters, too. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, fun read.

message 16: by Fernanda (new)

Fernanda (bastosreadsbooks) | 1 comments As a journalism student, reading has become a painful and just an obligation. No longer just a hobby. So this year and with the quarantine I wanted to rediscover reading. In a month, I read Haruki Murakami's The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Chbosky and now I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen.
