I've been wanting to read this one forever too.

I'm reading it right now. EPIC!! 58% in and loving it. Amazing world building, fantastic character development, twists. I'm really enjoying it! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite reads of the year! For me it went from a somewhat predictable beginning to completely unpredictable, which I love. Plus the world building is incredible and complex and everything I love in a SciFi dystopian. It even has a bit of a fantasy feel to it, which I love :) 58%: (view spoiler)[The characters are so well-developed and I was completely blindsided by Titus being a Red, now I'm wondering who else might be. It explained his actions so much better than him just being a psychopath. (hide spoiler)]

I am excited about reading this. I already bought it on my kindle.

I bought this months ago and am finally going to get moving on reading it.

I've already read the book and love it. The world building is incredible. The story of the Reds is terrifying and unimaginable. This is excellent time to do a re-read as Golden Son will be out next week. :-)

I completely agree! Cannot wait for Golden Son in a couple days :)

OK I'm ready to post my thoughts, but don't read my spoiler until you've finished! My overall conclusion though is that this book is AMAZING and one of my fave reads of 2014! (view spoiler)[ I really connected with Darrow and found him to be exceptionally likeable. He went through so much and had so many reasons to give up, but he never faltered. I was shocked and surprised so many times and I literally couldn't put this book down. The world building was EXCEPTIONAL and the line between "good" and "bad" so blurred and complex (something I love). And when Darrow stuck it to all those creeps on Olympus I was jumping out of my seat cheering. Simply awesome. (hide spoiler)]

I booked this one at the library it has been on my TBR for awhile and I cant wait to read it

I plan on reading this one this week too. Very excited to get to it.

This one has been on my to read list but now I will have a reason to make it a priority.

Yay I'm excited to read Red Rising, Kindle has it on sale for $1.99 grab it while you can!

Just bought it. It will be a week or so before I can start but it looks fun.

I started this one and it takes some getting use to. It's a little out there but I felt like that with

getting into it. A few twists and turns but colour is the main thread.

Started it this morning and liking it so far.

So far I'm about 60% in and it's really full of surprises. The part with Titus blew my mind. Gave me lots to speculate over.

I'm at cpt 8 and it's been just OK up to this point. Now I'm crying and don't know if I can read any more. Someone tell me something good is going to happen.

Well I finished this one earlier this afternoon and I ended up loving it. I'll admit that the first half had me a bit skeptical as to whether I'd like it or even get through it LOL! But happily, yes I did and by the end loved it and am looking forward to book 2 :) Here's my review.

I'm sorry Tracy. But it's a very good story.

Finished this one at the end of last week. I agree with Belkis - I wasn't so sure of it at first but after a couple of chapters I was hooked. Good story. Gets pretty violent though. It's hard to put down so now I'll start looking for Golden Son (oops - forgot title).

Oh yay :) I'm so glad you ended up liking it too E. I'm going to read book 2 (Golden Son) later this month. So happy it's out already.

half way there, main char's moral dilemma

I need to finish this. Ugghh. Trying to get Grave Mercy and Lick read for the weekly challenge first.

I've finished,now for a review. A slow start but gathered momentum when he was operated on and there was a real-life school of warfare.

This one is so so slow! They keep telling me to keep reading. I'm getting ready to put it in my DNF shelf. I'm 30% in.

I promise you, persevere and it picks up speed and gets so so good

I am having a really hard time getting into this book. I started but after 30% put it away and read two other books. I am not excited to pick it up again

I think it is just slow in the beginning. I have been working on it all month Crystal. I have picked it back up and I will finish because everyone keeps saying it gets better.
