Hey everyone!!!

Hope your lockdown has been bearable and you've managed to get some reading in.

It's that time of year again.

Sign up by commenting below. Then pick three books to include in the Book Pool.

While the word 'challenge' is in the title, this is a fun way to get involved in the group and there is no pressure :)

If you've never played, here are the rules:

1. When you sign up pick 3 books you want to be included in the "book pool."

2. You can pick any book released before the challenge has started and that is available in both print and e-book form. If its a book in a series - please only choose the first book in the series. Please no duplicates.

3. Once the challenge starts you will read books from the "pool."

4. At the end of the month whoever read the most books from the pool is the champion!

Have fun!

The challenge begins on June 1st. To claim points, please don't start your books from the pool until then!

You can sign up and add books until May 31st. You can join the Challenge after this date, but you will not be able to add books to the pool.

Hopefully by the time June roles around we might be down to level 2 and fingers crossed the public libraries are back open.

Kia ora Lillian.
You pick 3 books you want to read for the challenge.
Then when June starts, you read your 3 and as many of the other books in the Pool that tickle your fancy.

I’m in too. Although I’m optimistic we will be in level 2 next week and will therefore be back at work... hmmm
My picks coming soon! I’ll have to think about this.

Thanks Erica - we had a very easy Lockdown after the first week. Planning meals has saved us money!

@ Sharlene. I wish we would do one more week at Level 3 - just to be sure. But I know how tough this health crisis has been on a lot of people.

Nat | 35 comments Does the goodreads mobile app have limited features in groups and feeds like this?

I can’t find an option to reply to a comment and can’t see the expanded book pool list. Is it better if I login with pc or laptop ?

Thanks. I seesawed between Patrick Evans' 'Salt Picnic' & his 'Gifted', but went with SP as it is available in e-book & audio at the library. I didn't realise that he'd written a trilogy loosely based on Janet Frame (order of reading is not important).
