Samy | 30 comments So I was able to get through level 1 with the following 5 books:
River by Esther Kinsky
Der blutige Pfad by Nina Wagner
Silber: Das erste Buch der Träume by Kerstin Gier
Das große Nöstlinger-Lesebuch by Christine Nöstlinger
The Eighth Life by Nino Haratischwili

Now, let's see how far I can go towards 10.
First up:
Tyll by Daniel Kehlmann

Samy | 30 comments Thank you. The read along was great. Reading everyone's comments really enhanced the reading experience.

Nice choices of books you picked and you're well on your way to Level 3.

Samy | 30 comments I enjoyed Tyll for book #6.

Now for #7, a mystery translated from Italian into German:
Das Nest der Schlangen: Commissario Montalbano ringt um Fassung

Samy | 30 comments Hmm, so the mystery was so-so. Fairly easy to read with a few challenging vocabulary words.

Samy | 30 comments Just finished #10: Allmen and the Dragonflies and this month I plan to read #11 Allmen and the Pink Diamond by Swiss writer Martin Suter. Translated from German to English. Both are entertaining distractions from the unhappy current world situation. I suppose I'll need to jump to level 3 once I finish #11.
