My dad made me a light box several years ago and it is much easier than tracing on the window. Good luck with all your embroidery/quilting projects!
I find the light box very useful too. Exciting to plan quilt projects for the coming year. I'm aiming to do a single bed size for our new little grandson.

Now that the holidays are over it's time to get serious about some quilting projects. My granddaughter is a senior this year and I'm in the process of deciding what kind of quilt to make her for graduation. She is a very outdoor type of girl who loves winter sports, hunting, fishing etc, and someday hopes to work for the DNR. There seems to be a theme I can work around.
My next embroidery project I'm excited about is a wall hanging for my sewing room. It's entitled "Quilted Memories" and features 8 embroidered blocks, each a scene including a quilt. What could be more perfect for my sewing room? I finally broke down and ordered a light box for tracing the patterns. Since I discovered how much I enjoy working on these embroidery projects and how hard it is to trace patterns taped to a window I decided it was worth it to buy one. I've wanted one for years and know I will get plenty of use out of it. Can't wait till it gets here so I can get started on this project.
