Here is the spot to discuss all things re this book.

Please be aware there could be spoilers!

Enjoy!

Kate S I am listening to this one on audio. My library is closed for the holidays and I was looking for something to download for while I am knitting. This was available, so I started it this afternoon.

The use of language in this book is amazing. I think there may be a vocabulary quiz at the end of the book (but I don't know, I am listening to it). I think the author must have a well-loved copy of a thesaurus near his writing space. :)

About half way through. I hadn't read any of the Sherlock Holmes written by anyone other than Doyle, so this is different.

I like how they never name him. And how he doesn't seem to actually like bees.

Carol Brill (goodreadscomuser_carolbrill) This was a strange little book. Glad I read it, but far from a favorite. Interestingly, my favorite part was near the end when told from the parrot's point of view.

The parrots' POV was interesting.
