Any book or novella that you read that was published in 2014 counts. I've read one so far so getting up to 12 will be hard. The list is just those that I thought I would read or might read.
I was surprised to see how many of the books I read last year were 2014. A quick look and I can count 36 which is nearly 20% of all my books read last year.

I found two listopia lists, the links are at the top of my books there, they are of Jan-Jun and July to Dec most anticipated PNR/UF new releases. I had voted on them so they were really easy to find. Only problem is that they are only PNR/UF so if you read the historical romance, scifi, or other, you'll have to find other lists.

Of course you could go to the goodread choice awards

and get 20 of each category.

I've read so far
5 of them great, so great ratio
Update 22nd of January, well the great book ratio has gone down to 50%. The drop is all Chritine's fault! OK not all her fault...

Ok, so Dark Lycan isn't a 2014, I thought it was... :-( so my great/very good to OK/good ratio is at around 55%
OK only going to get 11 done unless I really do a marathon read.
Only Norma and I seemed interested in this one, but that is alright. I was really glad to get many of the books I missed from 2014 done.
Revenant, Azagoth, Bitter Spirits, Burn for Me, Born of Furn, and Dirty Magic, were great reads! Three of those are first in the series, so I would recommend to check them out.

So, 2014 has gone, even in California as I write this, but some of us didn't get to those books that we were meaning to read, perhaps right when they were released, perhaps you had them on pre-order even, they showed up, but yet you didn't get to them. Figure out how many you have (only books published in 2014) and how many you think you are up to challenging your self to reading. A nice way to say good-bye to 2014.
This months BOM The Book of Life fits nicely into this challenge.
Post any book you missed from 2014 below and let us know how many you think you will get read.
