Hey there!
Are you wondering which posts belong here? I'm glad you're checking whether your post would be appropriate. This folder is designed for you to be able to find some opinions on anything blog-related.
Share surveys you need answers to, for example & hopefully you'll find some people willing to fill it out :) Perhaps you've got a new design... Well, then, a critique may be needed?
If this folder seems the most appropriate for your topic* feel free to create your own thread within the "Comment/Feedback Seekers" folder to get what you're looking for. #

Please only post blog links here for advice on your blog or if you're low on comment love & seeking it :) This means NO follow for follows or just sharing your posts in other people's threads. Just because you offered them feedback does not mean they owe you a view/comment back, unless previously agreed. If they do, take this as a bonus.

The Blogger Lift Mods

*Be careful not to post anything which belongs in Blogging 101 or Blogging Opportunity Inquiries! Blogging 101 is for help, but not matters of opinion & Blogging Opportunity Inquries is the best placement for a post in which you're looking for something in particular, like a blog designer.

It should only take a few minutes, so if you have the time I would love it if you did it. You don't necessarily have to be following me/following me for a long time either...Here's the link: http://goo.gl/forms/28Z0b1QnzX

I loved it! I'm having to add more books to my "want to read" category now because I got distracted reading your reviews. I'm pretty new at blogging, but as a reader I enjoyed it, it was unique (pandas!), informative, and it was easy to navigate.

The only thing I saw that I might change is under "Features", rather than have it all there, it would look better if you just had the categories and a description in the feed, rather than everything. That way people can scroll through all the features easier. As it was, there was a lot to scroll through. So the first thing under Features is "Not my cup of tea books #2" (loved that, btw). Rather than having the readouts of books that aren't your cup of tea, if you just have the "Not my cup of tea books #2" title and the description ("NOT MY CUP OF TEA is a feature on my blog where I show the books...") then people can click on that to go to "Not my cup of tea books #2". Or, if they aren't interested in that one, they can easily scroll through the next one and the next one without having to scroll past everything you've written.

Again, I'm new to blogging, so I don't know if that is an easy change (or even possible). But that's my two cents.

Thank you! I've been making some changes to the layout and I think I'll soon have exactly what I wanted from the beginning. Now I just have to learn how to use photoshop to create my own Header :P

I had a look at your blog and it looks great! I like that you can see a few posts at the top!

You know what I would suggest to you?

The google follower widget is not on there, just make sure you have inlcuded that cos the name is on there but you can't see the widget itself. Also, the bottom layout I would change that, maybe put them on the side since you have a lot of space, not everyone would want to scroll down to compose a message or comment, it would be nice just to make it easy for them!

Bless ya, photoshop is hard to use :(
Do you really think so? Need anything changing? I wanted it to look attractive and stand out

Thank you! I'll take care of that.

Uhm, to be honest you've got to much stuff on your left sidebar for my taste. Especially all those badges... Maybe you could put them on your 'About Me' page? And I'd put the Archive a little higher to make it easier for people to look it up, because the first thing I do when I see a new blog is have a look at all the past posts. :)

Unfortunately I bought this template online so I can't move it to the about me page, I can only change the layout on the main page not other pages/posts, do you get what I mean?

I will take care of that thank you :)

Hey Catherine. I would suggest choosing a picture background, instead of a color. It generally looks more appealing. Great content!

Hi Emma,

I've just checked out your blog and I do like the layout.

I have a few suggestions though -

* It's always nice when I can follow a blog on multiple platforms. I prefer BlogLovin myself. Are you on Twitter? Facebook? Some links other than just the email subscription would be great.

* Personally I quite like a post archive or something that I can quickly flick through to see what you have written recently and whether or not we might be on the same page with reading. I like your Reviews page but it doesn't let me know how often you post and what you are currently reading etc.

I've picked up your blog on BlogLovin and have become a new follower. ;)

Hey Di,

I like your blog layout and header! And I was glad I could find the follow button easily. It sucks when you land on an awesome blog but don't know how to follow it! And just one thing..you know the Goodreads recent reads book widget u have at the bottom? I think it would look more awesome on top..below your title and the list of pages. It would add like a splash of color! Just my opinion!

Check out my blog! It's relatively new but am working on it!

I checked out your blog too and also liked that it's easy to follow and you have everything where it can be found easily.

What I think I liked the most about your blog was the Bloggers Commenting Back button - I didn't realise that was a thing until now! I always try to comment back and now I'm going to go look for a button so people realise it. :)

I like that you have chosen a template that is easy on the eyes. The colour combination makes reading your blog very easy. It has a very tidy look, especially the column. Each part has a clear title, so your reader can easily look for what they want. I also really like that the top bar is fixed, so readers can use it without scrolling back up.

About the negative, I find the moving display of your latest articles too big. It forces your readers to scroll down a bit too much to get to the articles. There's also one (the Q&A with a songwriter) that's much bigger than the rest and it moves the page if you're currently below it. I wouldn't be a big problem if it appeared only once, but the widget is in a loop, so it happens every once in a while.
