I got an even later start and finish! I really like this book. I think I got a good sense of what sort of people all the characters were, even the minor ones, which I liked. The main character was a fun narrator/historian. This was the first book I've ever read where I could see something close to my own type of sexuality and the confusion involved portrayed realistically (though with way more horniness). I only wish that the ending was a little clearer. I don't mean that I wanted everything to be fully resolved but just that I wanted a better understanding of what the relationships were like now and more of how characters were coping, especially Shann. Basically, I want to continue reading Austin's history books and see what happens next in his crazy new world.
