We have chosen to read Legend by Marie Lu.

It was among the first e-books I downloaded. It has nearly 400 000 ratings and more than 200 of my friends have added it or read it. Looking forward to reading this YA book.

I ‘ll Start reading it on June 1st . I don’t know how long it will take. Just depends on how into I will be.

I think I heard about goodreads from my mom .

My favorite thing about goodreads is reading what people thought books that I have read . I also really enjoy the fact that I update my reading progress . Sometimes something crazy happens I need to vent . So thank you good reads .

hey I will start reading the Lengend today!

I have joined goodreads March 2020 and I really like it I think that it's my own reading place i feel free to choose books to share my thoughts with friends etc and think that everything is alright in this app so far!

I think I’ll start it tomorrow morning or afternoon. It is one a.m where I live and my brain won’t be able to comprehend whatever I read right now . I am excited to start this book but my bed is calling my name .

Nice I lost count of how many chapters I have read . I know that I am on page 90 .

I'm at 40 percent. I liked most of what I read. But the YA aspect of the story keeps me from immersing myself in the book. There's a big coincidence at the Skiz fight. That's all I'll say.

I agree with that with the skiz fight . Just a little too convenient. Also the fact about the characters being 15 .
I feel like they act like they’re 20 years old .

I am about half way through the book. When I read it i get hooked pretty much immediately. Not because of the characters (which are fine ) but because of the writing. I feel like it just sucks you in . I like the politics and the world.

I don't find YA immature or silly, I just find the world building, the politics like you say, or the writing... I find them cold, rough to the touch, and like plastic, artificial. This rabbit hole follows me to every dystopian book I read, whoever the author is.

I know I'm a little late, but mind if I join? I've been wanting to read this! :)

I know I'm not a part of this BUT OMG LEGEND BY MARIE LU IS THE BEST TRILOGY EVER i feel like a proud mom just seeing anyone reading the series even though i don't know y'all but still

I gave it a 3.75

So I am on page 100 now...Does this remind anyone else of the Hungar Games or anything or is it just me? Also, for those who started later as well or are still reading, what are you at?

Also, this compelling quote of June's: (view spoiler)[ he..."reminds me of Metias over and over again. I tell myself that Metias is not the one whom Thomas is now torturing. That would be impossible. Metias can't be tortured. He is already dead..." I think Metias got killed off way too soon to be mourned or have proper build-up just for the convenience of helping June's character arc development which speaks of a sloppy plot. Not that I don't like June; I still admire our misguided heroine...especially when she's donning skyscraper climbing agendas ;) (hide spoiler)]

I feel like they act a lot older, too. I mean Tess is only 13?! :0

People like Day seem possible, as he was on his own on the streets. June though is a complete fabrication. I still enjoyed reading her chapters though.

So I found out it is a 1990 U.S. American Dollar his father gave him that is cased in metal in case anyone is curious :)
