Hi buddy reader group! Any thoughts for a topic or book for this buddy read?

Hmmm I like happy endings too...I have been looking at What If It's Us, Leah on the Offbeat, the Upside of Unrequited, & any of the Stephanie Perkins (Boy Next Door) series.

does six of crows have a happy ending?

Hmmm not sure. I googled it to see if I could find anything...but I can’t find anything useful without also getting spoilers.

Nah,Six of crows kinda ends at a cliffhanger...But I won't mind rereading it. It's one of the BEST books I've ever read.

I was thinking maybe we can read something of Friends-to-Enemies trope?

For reading "Leah on the Offbeat" we'll first have to read "Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda"... Stories aren't exactly connected but "Leah...Offbeat" won't be as impactful without reading "Simon...Agenda" first. ( They share the same characters.)

Well Enemies-to-Lovers works too...I have "The Hating Game" on my TBR.

Sorry guys! Just woke up a bit ago...it's before 9am here. I'm cool with reading the Hating Game...it has also been on my TBR...I'd also be cool with Six of Crows...I've never heard of The Shadows Between Us

I've never heard of it before, since it was out in 2020, February something.

I'm on board as well. Just the schedule. Although I've bought the book so we can start whenever the times right.

Yeah, we can set it up... What exactly do you have in mind?

I think The Shadows Between Us is final. The copy I found through my library has 30 chapters. So if we want to set up a schedule starting on this Monday...we could read 8 chapters the first two weeks & 7 chapters the last two weeks of the month. Post discussions/thoughts over the weekend (so we can discuss before starting the next section on the Monday)?

Any other ideas for splitting up the chapters or posting?

Nope. Although I'm like...REALLY a fast readers, and I have a feeling 'The Shadows between us' will be finished in 1-2days...

Lol, that's ok!! I guess if any of us read ahead...just don't post about that stuff until the week of those chapters. :) So this week...we will read chapter 1 through chapter 8 & post about it over this weekend. But feel free to read ahead if you'd like!

I'm a fast reader too...And I have zero patience when I read something interesting (which I hope our book is) So can we move the reading schedule a little forward,...maybe we can read it in a week?(of course if it's okay with bibliophile)

I say we stay honest to the schedule? ( As much as we can) It just won't be the same if one of reads ahead!

Oh sure! I was just thinking spreading it out. I didn't think about reading it quicker than that...most buddy reads I've done have been over a month. I may be a little behind if we do it in a week just cause I work full-time as well. But whatever works for you all is fine with me. What kind of schedule did you have in mind?

We can read it in 2 weeks We'll read it in 2 weeks. The schedule suggested by you works for me. And if someone feels like it's slow, they can always read some other book along side it? Anyways, I'll hate to in convince anyone.
So we'll start tomorrow?

Just asking...What book was it( that you read and so you'll probably like "The Shadows Between Us")?? Wanted to get an idea about what to expect from the book...

I did read chapter 4...Alessandra's plan is going very VERY well...
I feel like the Shadow King's rule about nobody touching him has to do with his parents...maybe

It’s definitely interesting that he won’t let anyone near him & that his parents were murdered. I wonder who did it??? And I agree...her plan is going very well so far.

I just finished chapter 15 & i can't believe she challenged the fighter...while drunk. Lol! Myron is super irritating (I wonder if she'll cash in his betters debt?)...& I cant tell if she is just wanting to have intimate relations with someone or if she likes Leandros...

Hey! I'm about to finish the book...in the end it gets soo intresting I'm physically unable to put it down. Forgive me friends, I'm gonna finish it before our set date.....
