The Under-Hyped Readathon! discussion

The next readathon will run from midnight on 19th January to midnight at the end of 25th and will be the same as last time! Twitter sprints will be running throughout the week! Let me know if you're taking part!

Yes! Thoroughly enjoyed this last year and have been looking forward to this :) I will be blogging and tweeting about it though - no videos from me :D

We have to read any books during the week that you could deem underhyped, books that no one is really talking about. It's just a way of sharing lesser known books =)

I've just joined and am looking forward to reading some great books. Do we just post on here what books we are reading? I love reading books that other people don't seem to know about. I love the idea of giving the not-so-popular authors some recognition.

What do you consider an underhyped book? How many ratings should it be at?

There's no official rule for ratings. It can be any book you think deserves more hype than it has gotten. I try for 5,000 ratings or less.

Oh boy I have a lot of those books. Just hope I have time to participate.

It's completely up to you! It's not a specific amount, just whatever you see as underhyped =)

Haven't completely decided on what my TBR for this will be, but would love to participate again. Really enjoyed the last one!

I'm in! Last time I went with under 5000 ratings (I think) and had plenty of options from my physical TBR shelf that were under 1000 even.

Added the books I'm going to try and read during this readathon to my "Underhyped books readathon" shelf on goodreads.

I'm in! Feeling so exhilarated after completing Bout of Books 12.0, I'm on a read-a-thon kick!

I'd like to try this, but I'm not sure just yet how busy my week will get. It'll be a challenge but I'm up for it!

I'll be joining in again. I won't be doing video updates this time as I'm taking a break from BookTube, but will try to post updates to my blog.
