Go to the group bookshelf and there nearly 300 books on there that could be considered underhyped that people were reading or suggested last time =)

I don't know how many ratings/reviews those books have but they are ones that I really want to read and haven't seen on booktube that much or at all.

Last time we went with under 10,000 ratings but it's up to you and what you have available to you on your shelves. Personally all of mine are under 1000 ratings =)

Again, I'll be going with books under 5,000 ratings. I'll be reading Knights of the Hill Country by Tim Tharp, The Outsider by Melinda Metz and Reap by Eric Rickstad (if there's time).

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

1. Adaptation by Malinda Lo
2. Moth Smoke by Mohsin Hamid
3. Want Not by Jonathan Miles
4. The Doubt Factory by Paolo Bacigalupi
5. The Living by Matt de la Pena
I picked these because I already own all of them except The Living, and my university library has a copy of that one. Also, I managed to get three diverse books into the mix, so not too bad! I don't actually plan on being able to read all of these next week because I have a *lot* of class reading this semester (woo senior seminars!), but I wanted to give myself a few to pick from.

1.Baol. Una tranquilla notte di regime by Stefano Benni
2.Pantera by Stefano Benni
3.Presagio triste by Banana Yoshimoto
4.Il giorno prima della felicità by Erri De Luca
Most of these books are in italian and they're so underhyped they weren't even translated in english, LOL (except for Baol I think)

1. Faithful by Janet Fox
2. Asylum by Madeline Roux
3. Three Rivers Rising by Jame Richards
4. The Edge Of Falling by Rebecca Serle
I'm hoping these are good books!

1.The Silence of Murder by Dandi Daley Mackall
2. Ghost Flower by Michele Jaffe
3. The Sleepwalkers by J. Gabriel Gates

1. Soldier dog by Sam Angus
2. Skjebnens sønn by Valerio Massimo Manfredi (reading this book in Norwegian all though it's originally Italian.)
3. Phenomena 1-4 by Ruben Eliassen

I'm also hoping to with an audiobook of something underhyped so I could listen to it tomorrow in work.
Most of my underhyped picks have under 1,000 rating, only the Doris Lessing book has under 2,000 rating (good enough for me).
Here's my whole TBR: http://redlipstickcase.blogspot.cz/20...

All of my choices are obscure Australian titles, a couple of which are part of a project I am doing this year, and the highest comes in at only 133 ratings!
So the books I have chosen are
1. Beware the Gingerbread House by Emily Rodda
2. Soldier on the Hill by Jackie French
3. The Comet Box by Adrian Stirling
4. South of Darkness by John Marsden
and 5. Godfather Was A Girl: . . . And Blanche Dubois Was A Guy by Eamon Evans
I have also made a TBR video if you are interested which is here: http://youtu.be/3QM1a5nb8v4

I plan on trying to read the following:
1) The Mirror World of Melody Black
2) The Undertaker's Daughter
3) Melt
4) The Darkest Part of the Forest
5) The Rabbit Back Literature Society
6) Gathering Darkness

As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust
Descent
The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone
Ask the Passengers

1. Aushwitz by Laurence Rees (7000)
2. 12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northup(150)
3. After the King edited by Martian H. Greenberg(600)
4. The Daring Ladies of Lowell by Kate Alcott(2000)
5. Letters to Juliet by Lise and Ceil Freidman(2000)
6. Zodiac by Romina Russell(600)
7. Tease by Amanda Maciel
I think these might actually be the only books I own under the 10,000 mark since most of my books are older and classics. I might make it through my list and if I do, I will have a hard time decieding what to read next.
Good Luck to all!!!

My TBR:
Harm de Jonge - Zestig spiegels
John Boyne - Stay Where You Are And Then Leave
Ester Verhoef - Erken mij
Lieneke Dijkzeul - Achterstallig geluk
Tess Gerritsen - Incendio
Katie Fforde - Going Dutch

The Missing Year of Juan Salvatierra by Pedro Mairal
Dust by Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor
World Made by Hand by James Howard Kunstler
Mr. Fox by Helen Oyeyemi
I also made a video, which you can find here if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uh7FJ...

For my TBR, I picked 5 books with under 500 ratings. The book with most ratings has 371, and the one with least ratings has 75.
Here's the books:
The Fall of the Stone City
Trespassing: A Novel
Racists
Soumchi
The Lost Word
If you want to see me talking about these books a bit, here is my video TBR:

The Loving Spirit - Daphne du Maurier (578 ratings)
The Birds and Other Stories - Daphne du Maurier (2969 ratings)
A Girl Is a Half-formed Thing - Eimear McBride (2012 ratings)

This is my first readathon so I'm being quite optimistic really, especially given that I have 2 lab reports to finish too...!
