Let's chat! There is SO much going on yet again!!! I really hope everyone is staying safe from all if it. This year has been..... well I don't have the adequate word right now. Just UGH! Escapism into books, movies and video games is at an all-time high for me. What about everyone else?

On an unsure plus not, I got me new kindle this weekend. Love having a kindle again but I hate the dimensions of the Fire 10! The width is fun but it is too tall! So it looks super skinny and narrow and is awkward to hold. Bit too big as well. But guess I'll have to just adapt. At least I can read my ebooks again.

I put my Kindle on a little lowered tray that i can pull close to me while seating , I paid for that magnetic stand for the device too which helps

All I was able to afford in addition to the kindle was screen protectors and a case. But once I get some more extra cash I will have to look into options.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments I've never gotten in to my kindle. I like it but I still prefer my kobo.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments How's everyone doing?

Doing okay, working like crazy. Not reading much :( Playing sims a bit more to destress after long workdays.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments :(

You're still playing Sims 3 right?

I just got Sims 4 eco lifestyle. Still figuring it out. :)

How do you like it so far?

Unsure... I like parts. Repealing community choices is a pain lol. I wish areas would change more as you improve them and it should be more difficult I would think . But it's hard to make things worse lol.

What are your thoughts? What do you like best or least?

So far that is lol. Opinions might change as we get more into it.

Me too. I've only really tried to really work out how it works for two game sessions. Now I'm kind of eh. I do like the world. But it's also sad to see all that garbage.

I like the bill part. Like how you can have lower bills? That's cool.

The bill altering is cool. But yeah I wish the other trash could be cleaned up as you change the town. See the factory become a park or something. I wanted more to do in the industrial area to change it. Or even things to do in general there. Like take a boat of the harbor or something. Can’t even fish there lol. And I wanted to interact with the gardening planters. Oh well. Interesting idea but I am greedy and wanted a bit more.

message 16: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments You can fish in general there though. I guess maybe they were limited in the graphics or software? :)

message 17: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments I honestly am still leaning about how to work the world. The bill part is the only one I have really figured out.

Kai Charles(Fiction State Of Mind) (fictionstateofmind) Living on many levels have everything I need but feeling stuck, exercising helps and I’m doing a lot of quick easy reads to distract myself

I'm glad exercising and quick reads are helping. ^_^

I need to get back into an exercise routine. Glad that is helping you out Kai. I should be doing more short reads. That would be the smart thing to do 😂. Working on some graphic novel reading though is helping me. But it is slow going still for me.
