Steve (plinth) | 179 comments My local library coalition has three copies for all of Central/Western Massachusetts. Initially, the wait time was 22 weeks, but 1 week later the wait time is now 13 weeks.

Ugh.

John (Taloni) Taloni (johntaloni) | 5193 comments I've been amused to see books chosen by S&L get copies added by LA Public Library soon after they were chosen. More than once I've been able to read within the S&L window because LAPL added enough copies to accommodate extra demand. Doesn't look good for this time though, it's at six weeks right now.

Andrew Trznadel | 15 comments Steve, I'm also in Western Mass. If you're accessing Overdrive with CW MARS, you can also access Boston Public Library. Their copies are all out at the moment too, but they do have more copies than us lowly Western Massers and it's a separate waiting list, so you can get on both at the same time. Also, you might be able to try hoopla if you're ok with audio books. Not sure if that's available for all CW MARS or just my city, though.

Sheila Jean | 330 comments If your library does Hoopla, they may have the audio version available as an option. I'm further East, but my local MA library does.

AndrewP (andrewca) | 2667 comments I'm a member of a couple of library systems including LA and Orange County. The shortest wait I have is now 14 weeks. It is available as an audio book on Hoopla from LA County, but as I'm working from home I have no commute, so no audio book time. Looks like a miss for this month.

You can listen while doing chores, such as folding laundry, mowing the lawn, conversing with your kids....

Lee (the Book Butcher) (butcherfromgeorgia) my library Libby app did not even recognize the title. but hey, that's why I have audible.

Steve (plinth) | 179 comments Thanks for the encouragement. I really prefer reading over audio books except when I'm driving (and I am doing pretty much none of that lately). I do go through cw mars and only see 3 copies.
My wait is still 13 weeks, 1 week later.

Robyn | 31 comments I have finished my kindle copy and willing to share it out. Just let me know. I can only lend once so first come first served.

Kai Charles(Fiction State Of Mind) (fictionstateofmind) I requested no h audio and ebook and audio came in yesterday through Libby (I’m part of LAPL)
