Are shameless self-promotions allowed? In addition to my "(Not Comprehensive) List of Japanese Fiction in English Translation," I'm also posting pseudo-intellectual reflections on the Japanese books I read at readjapaneseliterature.com.

Alison, we don’t have a rule that prohibits it but have had the good fortune to attract authors and block goers with good judgment, like you. It would be helpful if you could not set up new threads solely for this purpose, at least without asking first. I’ll move this under one of our existing folders. Thanks.
