Crystal I have only read the first few chapters but I'm not sure how much I like incorporating views from Jaime's son and Brianna and Roger. I hope we still get some action and romance from Claire's perspective!

I believe there is one more book.

Megan Ooooh. Keep reading honey!!!! This book is at least 1/2 Claire and Jaime. There's great stuff about William and Lord John and Ian. *minor spoiler* Claire and Jaime go back to Scotland. I loved this book but it had a terrible cliffhanger ending. I'm dying for the next one and satisfying my cravings by re-reading some of them. And I have no idea how many more she's going to write.

Donna Love each one of Dianna's books. The characters are very real. Claire is definitely a modern woman in an old world. The history is so interesting and the romance is Grand!

Melissa Keep going! You won't regret it. :)

The next book, Written in My Own Heart's Blood, will be out in the fall of 2013.

Ms Gabaldon has not said how many more books there will be ..."

I cannot wait for the next one!

I too will read anything she writes. I'm about to jump into the Lord John books soon.

Nancy The next one seems to be delayed to come out at the same time that STARZ will be airing a series based on the books: http://www.starz.com/originals/outlander
Which according to what I hear will be Spring 2014. They really know how to market these books. Will be interesting to see if they stick close to the books.

I had that same problem. I solved it first by reading the Lord John books. Once those were done, I decided the best thing to do was just start over with Outlander. Problem solved!

Have you read the short story in the Songs of Love and Death collaboration? There is a short story that kinda goes between Echo and the next book.

Mrsbooks I just finished reading the book and only now realized we can't read the next one until June! AAAHHHH!!!

Anyways I found the book slow moving. I may have not found it slow if I had known from the beginning that William doesn't discover who Jamie is until the end of the book. I was too set on seeing what happened then to enjoy much the less complicated plot lines.

I also found the ending of the book (which in my opinion was the best part) too rushed. I wanted to know more of what was already going on. Gabaladon likes to give SSOO much detail in her books and I was expecting that at the end. My guess is all that detail will be supplied in the next novel.

Any idea how many novels are left?

Dee at least two from what I have heard her mention online

Definitely glad we got to know William. It would be weird if we didn't. :)
