Addicted to Ink discussion

Spoilers are okay but make sure they are within the chapters listed :)

Favorite part of this section: when Raffaele is helping Adelina transform into her new look. I loved learning more about why the Elites have their special powers and how they received them from the fever (thank you Marie Lu for not waiting til a 3rd book to explain that for us!!!!!). There are so many exciting ways the plot could develop not that we know how many other malfettos have these other powers. I can see the sequel books being about a war between various segments of these Elites vying for power.

It was an interesting development learning that Teren has powers, too, although a little predictable. And I can see a love triangle developing between Teren, Enzo and Adelina in the future. I hope Lu doesn't focus too much on that though because that would ruin the series for me.

I loved the part where Raffaele "transforms" Adelina and gives her the porcelain mask.

I wasn't really expecting Teren to be a malfetto. It's interesting though because he wants to get rid of all malfettos, yet he's just like them. The part where he whipped himself was weird. He enjoys pain/scars? Also I've noticed that a lot of YA characters have scars on their backs from a whip.

I'm glad we're starting to learn more about the other Elites too (Star Thief, Spider, Windwalker, The Architect).

Can't wait to find out what Teren will do with his new found information on Adelina's whereabouts!
