Hi everyone! I was thinking it might be fun if we all introduced ourselves in this topic!

My name's Lexi and I'm on of the hosts :) I'm very excited to discuss ALL THE BOOKS with you!!

I'm currently a grad student studying library science and have a booktube channel where I discuss books I love! I've been a bookseller, a YA and Middle Grade Librarian, and hopefully someday will be a published author. Basically, I have a thing for books..😉

Favorite middle grades include Nevermoor, A Pinch of Magic, Harry Potter and so many more!!

Hello! I’m Stephanie! I love reading (duh!). In the Fall I discovered Lexi’s YouTube channel and started reading middle grade books based on her recommendations! Then she recommended Kalyn’s channel so I started watching her videos too! Anyway, I’m super excited to join the book club and read fantastical middle grade books with you guys!

My name is Aeris and I have a special relationship with middle grade. I actually didn't read my first book until my twenties, so I didn't grow up with these lovely childrens/coming of age books. Even the books that I was exposed to in school were broken up as I changed schools so frequently. Having the resources to now dive into middle grade as an adult is truly special. I look forward to reading with you all and I already have Howl's Moving Castle on my shelf (my 13 yr old daughter is a huge Miyazaki fan), score!

I've been a huge book lover ever since I was small and recently I rediscovered my love for middle grade books, so I'm very happy to find this book club :) I also love singing, going on long walks, doing crafts, art, history and mythology.

Some of my favourite middle grade books are Harry Potter, Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell, Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman, The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett and the Chronicles of Narnia. Middle grade books are by far my favorites (am still a child at heart) and I try to find books that the kiddo can later borrow from my bookshelf if he fancies. I also enjoy journaling amongst other creative hobbies.

I'm Nick, Russian, 29. Currently employed as a Chinese-Russian translator. Naturally reading has long been one of my main ..what? Not a hobby, I guess, more of a guilty pleasure in my case. Absolutely love the classics of the genre- HP series and PJ series. Also, can't help mentioning the Rebound movie. Mostly enjoyed Alex Rider series and especially the Bodyguard series (first 2 books is as far as I got by now anyway) by Chris Bradford. Howl's moving Castle? I've had a brief acquaintance wth it a while ago and it definetely has something about it. The details and the language for me, mostly, not the plot.
It's fascinating to be a part of something uniting people from everywhere in the world in their passion.
