What do you guys think of the book so far??

Firstly thanks for inviting me to the group Alexandra, it’s great to be part of this book club. Book is going good so far and I’m really liking it 👍🏻

I adore the book! 💛🧡 It's one of my all time favorites (a reread for me), so magical and twisty and lovely, a perfect wholesome summer read. I love a strong female lead with her own mind and strengths who doesn't rely on the male protagonist to come to her rescue. What do you guys think of the characters? I'd love to know your favorite! My heart will always belong to Calcifer I think 🌠🔥

I’m excited about the book pick I’ve never read “Howl’s Moving Castle” but I’ve read nothing but good reviews on it..

I’m almost done. I’ve really enjoyed it and not sure why I haven’t read it before, lol

I recently watched the movie for this book and loved it so really excited to get started on it.

I absolutely loved this book and defiantly something I wouldn’t have picked up on my own. It’s was magical in a different way I don’t think that I’m use too. I noticed there are other books related to Howl and his moving castle. I might pick them up to see where the story leads.

I am so incredibly excited to read this book! It has been on my TBR for some time and l have been looking for a group of like minded people to discuss middle grade books with. Look forward to talking to everyone about it :)

I loved it! Such a cute story with just hilarious characters. The writing took me a minute to get used to but it was perfect for the story. I definitely want to finish the series!

unfortunately, I am just now getting this book since I was added to the group yesterday. I found it free on my son's Amazon Free time App. So, I will be starting today.

My copy just arrived and I’m starting it ASAP. I’ve always heard of the movie but never knew it was a book until now. So excited to be starting it

I literally just bought the book. It should be here on Friday and I will be immediately starting it.

I've just finished the book! I haven't seen the movie in a long time, though there were a few scenes I was looking forward to in the book from the movie and there was every bit of magic in the book as I'd hoped. Quite different, still enchanting! I'll need to watch the movie again soon.

I’ve seen the movie and really enjoyed that one! So far the book is good and a bit different so I like that!

I think this book is absolutely fantastic, it’s my second time reading so I’m finding it much more enjoyable than the first time around (I think I was having a hard time separating it from the Ghibli film—which is one of my most favorite movies ever—so I didn’t give it a fair shot)

I agree with Lala, Calcifer is for sure my favorite character! I love his sass!

I haven't gotten too far in the book but it is very magical and slightly different! I love it!! ❤️

OH MY GOD! No spoilers but the end of chapter 6....did not see that coming... you guys I am obsessed with this book it’s every bit as good as the movie for me I’m so happy!!!!

Just finished reading the book tonight and I am experiencing warm fuzzy feels. Cannot wait to watch the movie again tomorrow! It’s my second favorite, after Kiki’s Delivery Service.

finally picked the book up tonight and I am already so in love...I don't know if it's because I love the movie so much and I am projecting those feelings on the book or what but I am already all warm and cozy just 64 pages in...

I just got done reading the book and I adore it so much. The book and the of Howl's Moving Castle was both amazing and magical. But I saw a lot of differences with both of the book and the movie.

Finished the book today and the book was indeed very different from the movie but I personally thought both had the same atmosphere of comfort throughout the whole story.

I have started Howl’s Moving Castle today, it will be a reread for me but looking forward to it.

Finished my reread just now and found I picked a lot more up the second time around.

I don’t have it and it’s not available in my online libraries but I’ll for sure be able to do Tuck Everlasting next month.
