Below are the basic information of the species / types of Celestials that you are allowed to have. You do not need to claim any of these species that are stated here. If you wish to make a God or Goddess, please head over to God and Goddesses Claim to claim. Thank you!

Centaurs

Centaurs are creatures that are part-man, and part-horse. (view spoiler) In the past, these creatures represent barbarism and unbridled chaos, but presently, Centaurs are seen as Celestials because most of them have medicinal abilities, and are generally great mentors for fighting.
Powers vary across different Centaurs, and they would typically have the ability to choose accurate herbs for healing, possessing extraordinary strength or having unparalleled reflexes in times of combat.

Cupid

Cupids are the minor Gods and Goddesses of desire, love, and affection. They usually have wings that can allow them to fly, but only in short distances. As time went by, many Cupids are created to be the matchmakers in the world, to match two loving people together.
Their powers include flying a short distance, having great archery skills and the ability to shoot love-filled arrows to help people fall in love. Of course, if the two individuals are not willing to do so, then even if they did shoot the arrow, that might not necessarily work.

Dryads

Dryads are a form of nymph spirits that are associated with trees. Each dryad has the ability to shapeshift into their tree form. Dryads tend to be calmer than other more mischievous nymphs. They have to be in the sun for at least some portion of their day as half of their body if fueled by photosynthesis.
Powers include some of the following: ability to understand certain forest animals, control and manipulate plants and vegetation, and in some cases wood, rock, and soil.

Faeries
Fays or Fae Folk are mystical spirit like creatures, known for their mischievousness and stealth. Faeries are associated with many types of plant life. The appearance and abilities of faeries ranges perhaps more than any other group. The only thing most all have is pointed elf like ears.
Their powers would include: Healing (faes have the ability to cure broken or withered plants; wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and even diseases and restore the emotions and spirits of others.) Photokinesis, they have the ability to project and control light and nature.

Gorgons

Gorgons are any creatures that possess fangs and have snakes for hair, many of them possess the ability to kill with a single look. Not every gorgon has snake hair, but all do have reptilian looking eyes. They have a range of abilities and appearances. (view spoiler)
Powers vary depending on the type of gorgon. Some gorgons have the ability to turn a person to stone temporarily when they look at them, temporarily blind them, and others the person simply drops unconscious. Some gorgons also have the ability to communicate with snakes and other reptiles.

Naiads

Naiads are a type of nymph spirit associated with bodies of water and usually presiding over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water. Naiads are mischevious and playful and some view them with caution due to their association with sirens.
Powers generally include types of water manipulation including some, but not all: healing abilities by cleansing with water, the ability to manipulate the stages of water i.e. create vapor, freeze, etc. and hydrokinesis, and the ability to understand aquatic animals.

Satyrs

Satyrs are creatures that are part-man, part-beast, usually shown with bestial faces, snub noses, and mane-like hair. (view spoiler) They walk upright on two normal human legs, unlike how they are portrayed in other book series. Satyrs were characterized by their ribaldry and were known as lovers of wine, music, dancing, and women. commonly recognised as companions of Dionysus.
Satyrs are said to be able to make trees, flowers and other natural things connected with the forest bloom into its beauty, and they usually do this with music. They can create hypnotic tunes on their pipes and flutes influencing other people and animals to join them in their revelry.

Sirens
Back in the days, Sirens were depicted as a creature that half bird and half woman who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of their songs. The Sirens symbolize temptation, desire, and risk, but modern day Sirens are now mellowed down, and are just more commonly flirtatious if anything. In the Celestial Institution, we warmly welcome male / non-binary sirens as well!
Their powers would therefore include having the ability to sing in such a melodious tune that few people can resist their voice. As Celestials, their powers are used to influence people to do good things, and rarely used as an offensive power.
